Im glad to have a neat little shop like this close to home, and its close to anyone in Orange County too. Decent Selection and good quality buds at a fair price. Will definitely be going back for more.
This is only the 2nd dispensary I’ve been to, so I don’t have alot to compare to. However, I found the place pretty easy, there were plenty of spaces to park (if you can squeeze through the driveway) and inside the receptionist was a young sweet girl. She was very friendly and answered all my questions with a smile. I took a seat in the waiting room and watched the Galapagos for about 5 min. before being called back. There were two young men that were very friendly and eager to show me everything they had. I didn’t feel rushed and again all my questions were answered with what I felt were knowledgable answers. I mostly went in for edibles, which I was hoping they were going to have more of, but I was happy with what I got and I can’t forget to mention the free gram of any strain I wanted. Overall, a pleasant experience and I plan on going back.
I have only been to a hand full of places so far, but this one was pretty convenient. Verification was very fast and they had a nice cute girl working. I’d say that the quality was pretty good but it was a little bit overpriced. They charge 65$ for their top shelf so its about 5$ over priced, not too much to complain about though I guess. I was pleased with my purchase overall because the budtender, who happened to be a nice guy, told me to pick out a gram for free. I was able to take a top shelf gram of whatever I wanted so that made me a fan. I have returned since due to the convenience, but I just wish they would get some A+ Sativa’s in. Definitely a place to check out if you live in Orange County.
I went there as a brand new patient. I was very nervous as I haven’t smoked in years and being a 39 yr. old lady I just felt weird. I was immediately put at ease. The atmosphere was so relaxed. The waiting room was nice and clean, with a cool mellow nature doc playing on the tv. The staff, both front office and back, were very friendly and super helpful. I explained my situation, stating what my prescription was for, and that I was clueless as to what I should ask for. They were so great! Told me the difference between different strains and offered advice. I ended up taking home three different kinds so I could try them out and see what works for me. I loved the free gram for first timers, as I was short on cash that day. They have a raffle each week I believe, and a container return program so you get free bud when you return a certain number of containers. This place is only a few blocks from me, so it is convenient as well. I haven’t been to any other dispensaries, and see no need to in the future. The prices are great, the quality seemed really good (although I am no expert), there was quite a variety, the people were very cool, and I will be going back The Variety every time for my marijuana needs.

The variety is a very convenient dispensary, their bud is always fresh, and their prices are great. The only problem I have is that the name “The Variety” is a bit misleading. Even though their product is top quality, they have one of the smallest inventories of any dispensary I have been to. If you are looking for a quick and comfortable place to get some super fresh bud, and you are not too picky about overall selection, this is the place to go. If you want edibles, concentrate, and the likes, you should certainly shop around. Just remember, the little guys need our business too (that goes for main stream small businesses as well)!
For me living in the HB area, this place is very convenient. the top bud is only $65 an eighth, which may be nice when you find other places that cap at $70 or $75. kinda wish their was a better deal on the more u buy. first visit is a free gram, and every $50 you spend, they enter you for a raffle. the staff are extremly chill and always help out. i enjoy coming to this place.
This was my first trip to a dispensary and it was a good experience. A little hard to find, but the staff guided me in. Professional atmosphere. Great products. And its close by H.B. where i live. Many thanks to the staff at Variety.
if your in the OC area this is definatley on e of the best clinics..i have been to about 3 other ones in orange county and they are always so expensive..this place has great buds, cool staff working there and a raffle drawing once a month for a a free 8th i think it was..definatley reccomend them. the only reason i put a 3 as convenience is cus its about 15-20 min away from me but worth the drive for the buds and prices
Great little clinic. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bud is awesome. They have a good range of prices and have excellent cookies. The location wasnt the best, but inside was cool :] free gram when you sign up!
Great place. Super cool staff and relaxed atmosphere. They were proud of the quality and willing to display many samples at the same time to prove it. Pricing was fair, but not overwhelming considering the quality of the product. I picked up an Indica (The LA) and got a free gram of a Sativa (Hawaiian). They also have hybrids. I would recommend this place.
I found this on weedmaps and went cause the new patient free gram deal, im low on cash. Anyways, picked up 3 grams of Hawaiian, LA kush, and AK 47. All looked great but ive only smoked the Hawaiian which is a 100% sativa so far. What a creeper high! Smoked a little bowl out of bong at first was disappointed, but after 10 minutes I was lost in thought haha. Such a powerful sativa it caught me off guard. Way better then Unit D in garbage grove, picked up something with seeds over there.
