It’s wrong on so many levels ! My wife is battling ovarian cancer. It’s been more than 2 years since her initial operation. Her doctors are amazed at her current state of health. She has beaten the odds, and is still enjoying life. The medical cannabis that she uses is what helps keep her alive! The stuff keeps her eating, and her spirits up. We know that it’s not a cure, but only a form of treatment. We live in a state that allows medical pot, and she has her permit. The other pain killers she takes are the kind junkies kill pharmacists for. Any one of them could be fatal if overdosed. All she needs for them is a prescription, that I can fill for no charge,at the grocery store. However, for the medical pot, we have to pay 100$ a year for the permit, and then wait 3 months for the first harvest. Not exactly fair.
If she wants to puff on some pot,as she tries to stay alive, who the f*ck cares!
Federal agents of the DEA , that bust pot clinics are the bottom feeders of law enforcement ! Pot is classified as a ’schedule 1′ drug, because the govt. claims it has no medical purpose.

Wrong. This was a decision made by the corrupt pharmaceutical companies and paper corporations that want marijuana illegal, because they’ll lose huge profits. These people actually lobby the government to ban it. Marijuana can be taxed, and there’s no history of this plant killing anyone, unlike alcohol and cigarettes. I believe states should have the right to legalize/ban that suits their local population. See the 10th amendment.
TOTALLY WRONG !!!!! Many states have legalized the medicinal use of marijuana. Why should the federal government over ride it and penalize medicinal users w/eviction from federally subsidized housing, close down legal sellers etc.
Maybe the pharmaceutical companies would lose money if people use this for the pain, instead of their high priced meds.
The goverment shouldn’t arrest any american in “the land of the freedom” for smoking, smoking whatever you smoke is not a crime, period.
Bernard Madoff is now in his 7 millions NY apartment with all the building scorted with private guards, who pays for that??? what about arresting this guy??? I bet he is also smoking pot there.
it is wrong- and it is used by these folks mainly to help stimulate appetite and relieve nausea, in the few states it is legal there have been many times when the feds have overruled the state and so very sick folks went to jail- it’s really sad.
They should allow bids by big pharma to legally produce it. The auction would raise several billion dollars. The government would also charge a royalty so they would keep making money yearly. Put it in a spray form like an asthma inhaler.

Sure, why not? They have money or they could not afford the pot. We never arrest anyone that does not have money, unless we are needing a scape goat.

I have never smoked pot in my life and I think it’s TOTALLY wrong…yet, I think cancer patients should be able to use it.
It should be prescribed by a REPUTABLE doctor. If so then yes they should be able to.

Ask yourself this question: What kind of government prohibits research into the healing effects of Cannabis (or any other drug)? What kind did you say? That is right a Facist Government. Then ask this question: What message is being sent to our youth when they become aware of the truth about marijuana and its therapeutic value’s while seeing our government prohibit everything marijuana? The USA is so Marijuana paranoid that it refuses to even let scientist’s and doctors do research on it if it shows marijuana in any sort of positive light. Our government only wants negative aspects of marijuana published for its citizens to read. So this is akin to book burning isn’t it? I mean after all isn’t our government, through marijuana prohibition and propaganda, trying to control what people know and do not know regarding this incredibly therapeutic plant put here by God for our use? To legalize such drugs as Diladud (the heroin junkie’s pill of choice, just add water, heat and shoot) while prohibiting the non addictive soft, yet extremely therapeutic drug marijuana, is beyond ignorant it is criminal. So what do we do with corrupt/criminal politicians? Put them in jail, right? To me this would be more beneficial to our country, our healthcare system and our economy.
