There hasn’t been ONE single case of marijuana causing any form of cancer. Sure, people will used skewed facts to make it sound like it can cause cancer. But the statistics speak for themselves, no one has ever gotten cancer from it’s history of known use (one hundred years in the US and thousands of years worldwide).
Whether it combats cancer or not? Well…Dr. Donal Tashkin’s research shows it doesn’t cause cancer and may have a protective effect.
Rick Simpson has claimed to cure cancer with concentrated amounts of THC in a cannabis oil. When the doctors said there is nothing more they could do for him he cured his own skin cancer.

But does marijuana cause cancer? No, definitely not.
Any arguable risk is completely nullified if marijuana is ingested in healthier ways, like eating or vaporizing.

It has never been linked to cancer, and it never will be.
And it doesn’t treat cancer, it helps patients who are going through chemotherapy cope with the pain.
It has a lot more medicinal value then you would think.
If I’m not mistaken, one joint is as harmful as four ciggarettes.
But heres the thing with that:
An average ciggeratte smoker smoke a pack or more a day (20+ cigs)
Your average marijuana smoker would never smoke that much weed in one day.
And there are ways to reduce the harmful chemicals in marijuana smoke, such as a water bong, or if you really know what you’re doing, a vaporizer.

Marijuana will be dangerous if you smoke it the wrong way. The only major cancer you should be worried about is Lung cancer. It is a lot more dangerous than normal tobacco smoking and thus the chance of getting lung cancer is far higher.
Try avoid deep inhalation.
Try using a vaporizer.
Smoke in puffs.
Try eating it (baking in cookies or whatever) instead of smoking it.
Try getting weed from the same source (avoid dodgy sellers that give out fake or contaminated weed)
Marijuana is NOT used in the hospital.
The risk outweighs the health benefits that i am 100% sure.

Marijuana will not cause cancer… unless you smoke literally a ton. it’s smoke plain and simple, carbon dioxide. One joint a day, for a few years most likely will not cause lung cancer. I have cancer and i smoke weed on days i have chemo… only on those days. if it wasnt for weed seriously i couldn’t eat a thing on those days. The amount i smoke will have no affect of worsening the cancer. oh and sorry this isn’t scientific… I also have never heard a definitive answer on this, it’s just my opinion. Benifits: appetite increase, relieve depression, lots of laughter. Risks: Paranoia

I’ve heard both from users and the “clean” people. Smoke of any kind isn’t good and CANNOT PREVENT OR COMBAT CANCER. However, marijuana smoke is not as bad as cigarette smoke. Weed contains weed. Plain and simple. If cigarettes were just tobacco, most smokers would never have cancer, but there are so many toxic additives that help to cause cancer. There are no real health benifits of weed usage, but it’s not going to cause cancer. You’d need to smoke 20 cigarette size joints every day to even have the word cancer cross your mind. (if you can find your mind after 20 joints). What I’m saying is no, it’s not good for you, but it will NOT cause cancer.

No, marijuana to this date has no serious side effects on the body what so ever. There’s never been a death or serious illness recorded that has been contributed from marijuana usage. Also, to seriously answer your question, Marijuana is used in hospitals to help ease pain of cancer patients…so i would find this statement highly unlikely.
